The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
by Mitch Albom.

It's sucha good book. I read it a couple years back, and found myself reading it again yesterday.
It brought back a flood of memories and emotions.
*sigh* yeah i finished the book today.
& it made me miss the best [barb]...and even the others.
We always claim to see the bigger picture,
but what we don't see is that the bigger picture is beyond just ourselves.
In fact, we are a very microscopic part of the bigger picture that connects everyone together.
A bunch of little stories that intersect each other, making one story, the bigger picture.

"The human spirit knows, deep down, that all lives intersect. That death doesn't just take someone, it misses someone else, and in the small distance between being taken and being missed, lives are changed."

"Sacrifice is a part of life. It's supposed to be. It's not something to regret. It's something to aspire to."

"Sometimes when you sacrifice something precious, you're not really losing it. You're just passing it on to someone else."

"The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone."

"Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive."

"You have peace when you make it with yourself."

"Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves."

goodnight & goodbye.

I'll be seeing you,
Jean
