things will never be the same.

"The ties that bind us are sometimes impossible to explain.

They connect us even after it seems that the ties should be broken.

some bonds defy distance, and time and logic.

because some ties are just simply meant to be."

Dearest Barbara,

The five year came and past,

and you are still dearly missed by everyone.

I miss you much, and not a day has gone by

that I wished you were here, or thought of how

you would have fit into the now.

Things have changed, and no one could have expected

the outcome of our present reality,

but it is what it is, and we're all dealing.

You help me, you know.

Even though you're not here, you help me.

I love you always best, and i hope you're watching over all of us.

Maybe some how you can let them know, that I am still here for them.

I'll be seeing you.

missing you,

jean.

Life happens and things change.

We fear it. We expect it, but when it comes

it hits us right in the face as if we didn't know it was coming.

I had the most refreshing comment said to me the other day.

"You haven't changed at all, but you have. You've grown."

it seems as if we constantly connect change with the worst,

but it doesn't have to be. It pushes you to the extremes

to get the best out of you. It's sink or swim,

and those who sink,

well those people they change,

they lose themselves.

Those who swim, they simply grow.

I refuse to lose myself.

I've been catching up with old friends.

People that I haven't seen in years, in months, in days.

& everyone has their own story, their own struggles,

and they're holding on.

Those people are some of the most amazing people I know.

What people don't get is that we're all fighting our own battles.

Everyone has their own stories, their own struggles, their own worries.

how bout we help each other out?

with love,

j.

Listen to the song.

let's stop wishing for things to be the same again.

Let's hope for the best,

and make a change for the better.

it's possible, you know.
